My humble apologies, I have been re reading the 'don't be shy' thread and realised how wrong I was.

Hi Mike - don't have an identity crisis!
Stuart is clean shaven; has short hair, and - how to put this - is less powerfully built.:D

I thought it was noted film director Peter Jackson http://www.imdb.com/media/rm3170868992/nm0001392 (:D in the photo. No seriously it was indeed Mike P.

It was a good day Len and good to get to meet you, as well as Tom, Diane and Lindsey again.

Your photo shows me in deep conversation with Gerhard Wagner, one of five of our European friends to attend the event.

Sorry to miss you Mike P - how we can spend a day in a hall together and not meet up is amazing!

Those who stayed for the Auction at Banstead will doubtless be thrilled to learn that the old Parwin I recklessly risked £1 on worked! Peter BenI donated three old Parwins for the Auction, and no one else bid on the first one. I cleaned it up and replaced the broken element with second hand spares Peter brought along, and switched it on without any bangs or sparks. It smelled a bit, tho!

Thanks very much, Peter.(tu)

After the excitement of the mystery that is Mike P, you may care to calm down with a look at some of the plants I came away with.

Hi Len, I like the photo montage, those Lithops don't look too bad when viewed from above :D
Ever hopeful, trying to grow plants from arid sunny climates in the UK!
Lithops, Haworthia, Adromischus, other south African succulents including Ceropegia and some Crassula.
