2008 C&S show in Bangkok: (dial up beware)

Post by pijaya »

Just want to share some photos with you all. This year show was on 1st November and was saturday, so there were a lot more participants in the show and contest, as well as general public viewers. I was again a judge for the "other succulent" section

as a preview, a nice A. fissuratus

Thanks Pijaya,

The skill of the growers in your country always amazes me. Superb plants! I wish I could be there to see the show in person, thanks for sharing your pictures!

Cheers,

Wow, what magnificent plants, it even makes me want some sanseveria's, yes to the Ario wrinkles & I'll have 2 of the fluffy loph:mex:.

The rosette's on sticks are really good for photography, it was one of the things at the National that the cards are laying flat so you often can't see the winners.

What are the rules re grafted plants?, do you have to say if they are ??.

Ooh those Astro's::o & Ario crests, must stop drooling:woho:

Oh WOW!!! Pijaya! what a fabulous show of cacti, I'm sure you've made us all envious - our efforts in gloomy, dank conditions in the UK pale in comparison to what can be grown in Thailand. And, as a variegate-lover, some of those plants make me really drool! Especially the Uebelmannia! Your job as judge can't have been an easy one!

Hi Pijaya, a fantastic show of plants, thanks for sharing. The Turbinicarpus valdezianus is the largest example by far I've ever seen, an amazing plant.
