Have we turned into a market stall?

Post by Peter »

This page of the Forum comprises mainly cabbages and other vegetables. Where are all the cactus folk? C'mon chaps, I know it's the dormant season, but we spikie people are being overwhelmed.

Memo to me: must get some pics of nice real plants, not nature's aberrations.....:?

Don't worry, Peter, somebody will find something interesting to say about cacti one day.:D

I was in the greenhouse this morning and was taken by how nice some of my Mamms were looking, even tho they're still napping.

We're hibernating with our plants ;) Don't worry Peter, revenge will be had in a few months when the spring flowerings come along ;) In fact, a couple of my Mamm's including a decent sized cluster of M. laui v dasyacantha are budding up right at the moment. I'll see if there's enough flowers open to justify a couple of pics this weekend.

I noticed one of my rebutias is budding as well, so that should flower in a few weeks I should think.

I'm not sure if they're a bit early perhaps, maybe cos I keep my greenhouse a decent temp.

Hi lovers of the spiny ones, that's why I felt so very well in this forum and I surely don't mine to see some spines, now and again, all the more as they show very cosy and delicate flowers (:D
