This year that all my Gymno bruchii plants are flowering I found out that I have 4 different.
First is G. bruchii v albiflora

Than I have these two that look quite similar - the only difference is in the flower color - in reality the difference is more evident. One is strong pink and the other very pale pink, but not white.

And this one is pink but the flowers are smaller and the petals look quite different as in all other plants.

Re: Gymno bruchii varieties
Unusual frilly petal tips! You've got something interesting there, Sandi... worthy of a special name?? And the plant is offsetting, so you could propagate it! There is a Gymno (I think mesopotamicum) with twisted petals, that was named 'Spiral Bound', http://www.bcss.org.uk/forum/read.php?1,32126,page=1
Ever hopeful, trying to grow plants from arid sunny climates in the UK!
