It says:-
"Temperature extremes do not favour germination, that is, below 12C (53.6F) and above 28C (84.2F). A temperature of 20C (68F) plus or minus 2C gives a good germination rate in a wide range of genera."
"Alternating temperatures give better germination results than constant temperatures."
