Hardwicke Village Hall, Hardwicke, near Gloucester

Talks:
Wiebe Bosma
Notocacti and Fraileas in Southern Brazil

Brazil, one of the largest countries in the world, is the home for many cacti. Two popular genera for collectors have their main distribution in southern Brazil; Frailea and Notocactus/Parodia. But there is more to see than just these hidden treasures in the field!
Derek Tribble
Conos and other Mini-Mesembs

Using the species-rich genus Conophytum as an example, we will take a look at how miniaturised Mesembs have successfully spread across Southern Africa. By visiting their often spectacular rocky habitats, we will see what lessons can be learnt for their cultivation, which many people find challenging.
Tony Roberts
The Smaller Opuntioideae: A Grower's Perspective

Tony will be sharing with us his experiences of the last 20 years of cultivating and propagating these plants, illustrating his talk mainly with his plants in culture but also some in habitat. He will also update us on the very latest thinking on the classification of opuntioideae.
