A Frailea of some sort and I'm not sure if this is really a monstrose plant. From what I remember there is a larger original head underneath all the offsets, and it's just slowly grown more and more heads. I've had it ages and ages. Don't know the species (anyone know, please?). It's in a 2-and-3/4 inch pot.

I thought when I chose this subject as the title for June's competition it looked as if it would not prove too popular. I was wrong as there have been some really good entries and it was a difficult decision to make but I have chosen Diane's Euphorbia susannae as the winner. Congratulations Diane. (tu)
