Newbie

Post by JohnR »

Hi all
Latest member to the society. I have been playing around with Bonsai and cacti/succulents for several years now and I have just started to extend my cactus collection (taking it more seriously). still undecided which branch to attach myself to, living in mid Powys I think I have a choice of Cardiff or Birmingham (where I'm originally from) both the same distance time-wise.

Hi John

Welcome to the society and the forum. I also live in Mid-Wales (Knighton, Powys) and attend the Shrewsbury group meetings most months (second Wednesday). I also belong to the Worcester Cactus Society, which meets on the first Tuesday in the month. A very friendly group with a lively agenda. See the link http://www.limax.co.uk/wcs/ You would be welcome at either or both group meetings.

Best wishes

Rod

Hi Mel thanks for the welcome

Hi Rod
Thanks for the info. I'm on holiday for most of August but I will try and get to Shrewsbury in September.
I think I've recently had a few items from your good self?
regards
john
