Hello All...

Post by Smel »

Hi All,
Kept Cacti & Succs on and off for 20+ years. I've just rejoined the BCSS and Tony still had my old details from 1993 and reinstated my old number, don't know how often I'll get to a local meeting as it's the other side of town and I don't drive.

But just ordered 24 packs of seeds and will have another go with them, did'ent do too bad last time. But a couple of bad Winters reduced my collection from about 350 to 140 so I have lots of catching up to do. I only have a small 6x7 cold greenhouse, bringing a few tender ones indoors for the winter. Bringing the electronics of the old propagator up to date, including a light sensor, so the temp drops a few degrees at night, as I think it would in nature.

Sure I'll have more to say later.... (tu)

Regards
Mel.

Good to see you on the forum Mel. Good luck with all your seed sowing.

Hi Mel
A couple of unusually wet summers accounted for a good number of my outdoor cacti!
Anyway cheers and welcome
