After 24 hour travelling I ended up in South America
And 6 plain rides, several bus rides and couple of boat rides later I ended up here...
Who recognise this place?

Re: My first in habitat picture of cacti
Well, it is Galapagos
We landed on Floreana and took a walk the morning after...
A nice view from the beach, and some cacti in the horizon Soon we are in place, and there you have it; a Jasminocereus thouarsii. And we getting closer... ...and closer... P.S. Tell me if you like some more pictures from my trip...?

No, I didn't have a chance to see any Brachycereus nesioticus. The are only on some islands as pioneer plants and we couldn't visit one of them But I have more pictures of cacti I have some that I need ID for from an island in lake Titicaca
Thank you Ross.Ross M wrote:Yes, brilliant Christer - thanks for posting them Looks like you had a great trip. How long were you there for?
All of the trip took 15 days and we visit Lima, Cusco, Puno, Quito and 4 islands of Galapagos. We had a nice trip with perfect weather
I have 12 X 8Gb of flash memory with pictures to edit now
