Suzanne's operation

Post by bcss »

Quite a few of you will know that Suzanne Mace has been waiting for a heart valve operation.

This operation was carried our sucessfully this morning at the Brighton hospital cardiac unit and is 'doing well'.

I visited her at their intensive care cardiac unit this evening and although sleepy from the after effects of anaesthetic and painkillers she was reasonably cheerful. She will be in hospital for 5-7 days.

Best wishes from me too, thanks for letting us know.
I hope all continues to go well with Suzanne's recovery when she is back home.
Ever hopeful, trying to grow plants from arid sunny climates in the UK!

HI All,

Many thanks for all your good wishes, whether expressed here or by snail mail. I was released Tuesday of last week, and never was I more glad to get home, to Tony's cooking, my plants and our two cats. And yes I am in good voice.

Best wishes, Suzanne
