Hello everybody, my name is Neal, and I've been collecting cacti for about 2 1/2 years now. I found some small Parodias
and Mammillarias at a grocery store one day , and that began the obsession. I collect cactus mostly, but I have some
Aloes, Euphorbias, and a crassula ovata. I'll attach some pics when I figure out how to reduce file size I look forward
to exploring this site and communicating with fellow cacti enthusiasts . Thanks for such a great website !

Hi Kamos,
It's looking like a good start to a great collection of plants, and you have some really good cactus nurseries in California, there is a good one in Ripon that I have visited.
have fun.

Re: Hello from Central California
Thank you all for the nice welcome! I'm still learning by trial and error.I lost a few the first winter (over watering),
and now ,in summer I keep moving many of them to give them more shade. Our 100+ degree F summer sun really beats down
on the plants.
I've been browsing this forum for a few weeks now, and I'm amazed at all the collections! I'ts great to be part of this
community.Thanks again for the welcome.
