Hi, I'm a bit of a newbie round here! I'm desperate to get my hands on some cuttings of a trailing succulent I've been told is know as 'pearls on a string' (genus lobelia, I think!). So far I've only managed to find it for tail on US sites and I'm concerned about the shipping time! Does anyone know where I can find this in the UK? I'd be so grateful for any help or advice!

Many thanks! Megan

Hi there and welcome, the String of pearls is know as Senecio rowleyanus, that you are looking for. I'm sure someone here will have it, as it is a fairly common succulent. There are all sorts of other trailing plants you can grow, too. So, you could be in for an interesting time.

Hi Megan and welcome, you can get this plant from http://www.cactusshop.co.uk/ There are also quite a few on ebay and I'm sure many more places sell it too.Someone on here may even have some like Liz said.

Hi Megan, if you are interested in trailing succulents you might also like Ceropegia woodii
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ceropegia_woodii
which in I think is a much more interesting plant.

I did have both in my original collection but not anymore or I would have offered to send you some cuttings.
