Hi,

Just to let you know that the December ESR is now available at http://www.essexsucculentreview.org.uk

This issue includes an article by Paul Hoxey on The Oreocereus of Peru and Chile and a look at Gymnocalycium spegazzinii in Argentina by Rick Gillman. Changing continents, we have Poisonous Aloes in East Africa by Susie Allan and an article on Growing aeoniums by Elizabeth Maddock (LizM on the forum).

I hope that you will enjoy the new issue.

Best wishes

Another cracking edition, Sheila. Just love the habitat reports.

Mystery aloe is Aloe striatula, the hardiest of the genus. Chap I got mine from originally had his return from below ground after -18C back in the 80s - a temp that saw off a lot of 'hardy' garden plants.

Wonderful as always. Just read it cover to cover (can you say that when it's on line!)

Enjoyable and informative as ever. An example of how to compile a good magazine.
