I'm aiming to get enough seeds for the BCSS list this year. Have to remember to tickle, because it tends not to self-pollinate. This is just one plant.

So I have to ask. How did you do it? I've sown several times now and my best score is two. I didn't send you thousands of seeds, so it isn't that. I don't have any trouble with other Avonias.MaciejW wrote:Looking great! It's just one of those things. I can't grow Pleiospilos nelii while others grow it with ease...iann wrote:So I have to ask. How did you do it? I've sown several times now and my best score is two. I didn't send you thousands of seeds, so it isn't that. I don't have any trouble with other Avonias.

They sprout rather sporadic. First two came up within a couple of days, rest almost at once with another spellets of hot weather probably 2 months later. They are kept in pot in zip bag, indoors, in my plant room - south facing back porch.iann wrote: So I have to ask. How did you do it? I've sown several times now and my best score is two.
