Hi,

Just to let you know that the September issue of the Essex Succulent Review is now available to download at https://www.essexsucculentreview.org.uk/

This issue features the second part of Nick Gash's (NickG on the forum) article on Adenia, with a more detailed look at a number of different types and forms of this fascinating genus.

It also includes Ian Woolnough writing about two Czech nurseries he has visited, another in the series of articles by Bob Potter on interesting Euphorbias and some thoughts from the BCSS's new Chairman, Ian Thwaites, on his collection.

Best wishes,

Sheila

I have had problems downloading the last few editions of it as I keep getting a message saying there is a problem with the certificate of the website when I use my android tablet

Hi,

First thank you to everyone who has posted on here. I really do appreciate your replies and comments.

Chris – I'm sorry, I don't know why you should have trouble downloading issues. The site has a security certificate which we purchased earlier this year. For anyone who is interested (probably not very many of you) this is apparent from the fact that the web address starts with https rather than http.

I wondered how old your tablet was. I ask this because sometimes an older browser will not act as expected. I have trouble with the browser on my old computer, which someetimes appears not to recognise security certificates, although we're getting to the stage now where it doesn't recognise much else either.

If you wanted I could add you to the subscription list, and you could see if it was any better downloading from the email link I send out.

Best wishes

Sheila
