I don't think there is a suggestion that NO-ONE looks. Just wondering whether more would look (with increased enjoyment and educational benefit) if all the traffic went through fewer forums.
I can see pros and cons but I think the hobby is fragile and dividing the groups up does not help. Just my view.

It is significant that the Small Opuntias group is the only one to have its own cactus subgroup of the greenhouse. This seems to me an anomaly (as does the Haworthia Soc similar situation re other succulents). I agree with David.

This was discussed a while ago. It seems certain interests held sway, but, IMO, these two subdivisions should be axed.
