If it looks good don't worry. Mine was collected by Wiebe Bosma so should be ok.

I have one or two. I'll start with Brachystelma filifolium. I had it for a few years, growing fine then dead!

hi i have a laryleachia cactifomi. last year i cut the top off and now it pups up like mad i took 10 pups off and put them in multi purpose compost 9 rooted in 2 weeks and 1 rotted. very very happy. : (
