I also have some Setiechinopsis that I intend to try an cross into Echinopsis. I think multicoloured Setiechinopsis type plants would be highly decorative, and if I could combine the scent with a scented Echinopsis, I think that would be something!

Interested in most genera of small to medium ‘globular’ cacti, large flowering Mammillaria, Epiphyllum, Trichocereus, Hildewintera, Cleistocactus etc, small Agaves, Lithops, Titanopsis, Faucaria etc, plus hybridising.

Did see a reference to this a while back. Can't remember where. Will backtrack. Think it was a US site. Oxygona? Not botanist so my understanding of genetics is limited. I'm sure that someone will point you in the right direction. Brian Fearn's book mentions the species and hybrids which are perfumed. But his description of highly perfumed and my limited experience of said hybrids does not concur. Probably olfactory disfunction on my part.
Endeavouring to grow Aylostera, Echinocereus, Echinopsis, Gymnocalycium, Matucana, Rebutia, and Sulcorebutia. Fallen out of love with Lithops and aggravated by Aeoniums.
Currently being wooed by Haworthia, attempting hybridisation, and enticed by Mesembs.
