What species is that up there in the middle picture? An Ortegocactus macdougalii?

Welcome to the forum .... a place to meet and socialise without contravention of the 2 metre rule
Endeavouring to grow Aylostera, Echinocereus, Echinopsis, Gymnocalycium, Matucana, Rebutia, and Sulcorebutia. Fallen out of love with Lithops and aggravated by Aeoniums.
Currently being wooed by Haworthia, attempting hybridisation, and enticed by Mesembs.

Thanks, ah yes the Ortegocactus macdougallii i do love it's colour.

I must have taken that picture a few weeks ago, it's got new growth and more erect from the looks of it.

The seeds below are various localitys, my own cross breeds or even just really slow growers.
Sealed away as rust is my number 1 issue and killed off so many special crests and varigations, i am trying to breed in resistance to rust and so far have one lophophora seedling which does not ever get affected under controlled tests when all others around it do, don't worry within hours of showing a slight mustard tint to the skin they get sprayed with Fungus clear Ultra which always seems to halt the rust straight away.
