What a lovely time of the year, Jean. Great flowers in this sunny weather. (tu)

A very nice display, Juster. Gymnos do love the heat.

lovely - thanks for sharing
Endeavouring to grow Aylostera, Echinocereus, Echinopsis, Gymnocalycium, Matucana, Rebutia, and Sulcorebutia. Fallen out of love with Lithops and aggravated by Aeoniums.
Currently being wooed by Haworthia, attempting hybridisation, and enticed by Mesembs.

Me too, the buds can take on the look of some alien species from a 1950's B movie.

The flowers are rather nice as well, though I have to say most of mine are not looking their best this year, certainly non as covered in flowers as those in Jean's pictures.
Regards Keith.

I rather love the more muted colour Palette of the Gymnos following the exuberance of the Rebutias and Sulcos... Lovely plants Jean!

Thanks Keith and Christian, I agree that the subtle variations in colour are quite fascinating.
