Hi guys.
My name is Nathaniel and I am 20 years old. I've only been interested in Cacti and Succulents for about 10 months but my collection has grown a lot (Much to parents dismay...)
At the moment I have most of my plants outside under the polytunnel. The collection is mostly from garden centres, but I want to veer away from this as the soil they come in is usually a nightmare to get rid off!
I seem to be unintentionally collecting ferrocactus (the bigger the spines, the better!) and pepperomia, and slowly falling in love with them.
Hello from Redhill!!

Endeavouring to grow Aylostera, Echinocereus, Echinopsis, Gymnocalycium, Matucana, Rebutia, and Sulcorebutia. Fallen out of love with Lithops and aggravated by Aeoniums.
Currently being wooed by Haworthia, attempting hybridisation, and enticed by Mesembs.

Re: Hello from Redhill!!
Welcome to the Forum Nathaniel, you have some nice plants there. When life returns more to normal you will be able to attend some branch meetings and buy plenty of plants!
Croydon Branch member, growing mainly cacti and Echeverias
Re: Hello from Redhill!!
Hi. If you would like to try buying a few cacti by post from the nursery that uses "proper" compost, then I would highly recommend Southfields Nursery. I particularly think that their 12cm pot size plants are good value if you would like to get slightly larger plants.
