I did wonder about 'Aurea' but I thought the central stem seemed a bit long.

I have some Chamaeolobivia hybrids that look very similar to this so don't rule that out either as an option.

Chamaelobivia is the same size or a bit thicker than common Chamaecereus, soft and clumping abundantly.
It will be better to show scale (eg in cm) or something to compare the size.
Seems to be large and hard enough plant.
I bet the flowers will be big yellow.
