Endeavouring to grow Aylostera, Echinocereus, Echinopsis, Gymnocalycium, Matucana, Rebutia, and Sulcorebutia. Fallen out of love with Lithops and aggravated by Aeoniums.
Currently being wooed by Haworthia, attempting hybridisation, and enticed by Mesembs.

Hi Mike,
Like the flowers and I can guess that their from a PLEIOSPILOS I think, but just which ones it does help others................ my PLEIOSPILOS COMPACTUS ssp. CANUS JUST PRODUCED A FLOWER 9CM WIDE..

First one is bolusii and the second is simulans. My P canus has yet to open its flowers.

Those are very nice.

Certain Pleiospilos always seem like they were from when the dinosaurs were around.

Something aesthetically pleasing about them.

Since they originated from the same geographical area as man, are they an edible plant?
