More National Show plants to ID

Post by DavidI »

I have attached a number of screenshots from the next video that I am preparing from the National Show. I have decided to try and include names for as many of the plants as possible but some are still managing to avoid showing their labels in my or other photos that I have access to, so any IDs on the following are welcome. Thanks

The next YouTube video will be from The Zoom talk I gave at the start of September (next weekend)

Thanks Tina, I love your A.confusus and I suspected the one in number 6 was A. agavoides but it's not one I have any experience of and wanted confirmation before I put a name to it.

That's all the Ariocarpus named.

Any Astrophytum experts out there with suggestions for the plants in pics 1-5?

Thanks
Dave

Me too, it reminds me of the beano comic, with desperate Dan & cow pie  .
The agavoides is an old ex grafted plant, I actually prefer the old ex grafts now as they have more diverse shapes to them, some get seriously lumpy bases & they will sometimes grow the typical turnip root as well.

I was hoping for an astro expert as I'm pants at them & have some that need ID too.
