Last week, out of the blue, I got an email from a commissioning agent for a publisher asking me if I would be interested in writing a book for them on exotic gardening - which is my thing. One of their existing author's knows me and put my name forward. I sent back a proposal for a book covering growing cacti and succulents outdoors - 'The Dry Exotic Garden' as I believe there is a massive gap in the market for such a thing, certainly UK centric. I've just heard back that they are going to go with that! How fab! I've been toying with the idea for years but struggled to get enough interest and now it has been handed to me Give me something to do next year! It will hopefully be published mid 2024.

Well done
Endeavouring to grow Aylostera, Echinocereus, Echinopsis, Gymnocalycium, Matucana, Rebutia, and Sulcorebutia. Fallen out of love with Lithops and aggravated by Aeoniums.
Currently being wooed by Haworthia, attempting hybridisation, and enticed by Mesembs.
