December 2022 - Spirals

The picture I attach is for inspiration for you. It is of Mammillaria tlalocii as published in the Mammillaria journal last year. Al Laius the journal editor was looking for images to illustrate the way in which plants demonstrate this characteristic. I'm now humming a Michel Legrand song with 'spiral' in the lyrics .... I use music often to inspire artwork and images.
I'd like to see photos which show spirals in growth or spines or leaves or wherever you see one. I'll be judging the photos on photographic merit in how they interpret the title 'Spirals'.
Endeavouring to grow Aylostera, Echinocereus, Echinopsis, Gymnocalycium, Matucana, Rebutia, and Sulcorebutia. Fallen out of love with Lithops and aggravated by Aeoniums.
Currently being wooed by Haworthia, attempting hybridisation, and enticed by Mesembs.

Spiral or not, it's one well grown plant.
