Pterocactus fischeri

Post by Herts Mike »

When I had my tuberosus I used to knock the branches off in winter and it would happily flower the following summer.
I don’t do it on fischeri and it still hasn’t flowered after a number of years. Should I?

Personally, I would not. never found fischeri a problem to flower.
But if you have 2 or more plants try it on one and see what happens

I don’t do this to fischeri although one of my clones of it does shed the occasional segment in winter.
