This subject may have been used before, but my previous attempts at offbeat subjects usually attract very few entries. I'm looking for any of your succulent/cactus plants that flower this month. I'll be judging on photographic merit (my subjective opinion). Good luck and keep on posting. You can enter as many photos as you please.

I've seen a few buds so might get some more open flowers in time for more entries but I still have some open flowers on a number of Crassula ovatas, flowers on this one beginning to fade but it was the easiest to get into position for a photograph

Intriguing...!
Here are a couple of snaps from the Arid House at Winterbourne, taken yesterday. The first flower is from a Lampranthus, the second an Aeonium flowering at an odd angle.

I have not participated here before, in fact I have only recently discovered these photo competitions. Since I haven't found any 'rules of the game', I'll just post 5 photos. If that should be too many, please disqualify me!
It's not 'fresh material', but this year the flowers on my plants are quite delayed.

On the one hand, I just noticed that I overlooked a 6th photo that I had chosen to show here:
On the other hand I wasn't aware that the original file names aren't visible here in the forum. Since they contain the names of the respective plants, I am providing this information here:
Pic. 1:
Deuterocohnia lotteae
Pic. 2 + 3:
Schlumbergera hybrid
Pic. 4:
Sedum palmeri (+ one aphid ... did you notice without this hint?
)
Pic. 5:
Sinningia piresiana
Pic. 6:
Pediocactus simpsonii
Wishing you Happy Easter!
