Re: Homalocephala texensis
Amazing to have so many flowers at such a "young" age. Now I'm encouraged that maybe mine will flower in a year or two.

Some youngsters from 2018 BCSS seed in a 10cm pot. I think I have a while to wait yet....

Looks like you got nearly 100% germination there Darren. I got 6 plants from the same bcss offering and these are now individually potted up and 3 - 4cm across. You may also be interested to know that these seem to be fully hardy in an unheated greenhouse - at least down to minus 6 deg C (no guarantees, just my recent experience).

Good to know about the hardiness Jerry. I'm a bit lazy with regards potting on, which is probably why these are still small. I was very pleased with the germination.jerryb23 wrote: ↑Thu May 25, 2023 11:14 am Looks like you got nearly 100% germination there Darren. Even colder. Mine had survived a few nights of -10C this winter.jerryb23 wrote: ↑Thu May 25, 2023 11:14 am Looks like you got nearly 100% germination there Darren.
