gymnocalycium spegazzinii var. unguispinum Q

Post by Tina »

Anyone know how big these have to be to flower & what is full size, same as spegazzini ?, I know these are still young in 23/4 " pot .
Seem to be speeding up a little now they are past the baby stage when they struggled a bit.

My speggazzinii seedlings are in individual 2 inch pots and one has flowered so the regular species certainly flowers at quite a small size

I don't think I have ever seen this one big. So about 5-7 centimeters seems to be mature for as far as I can tell.
