Interesting that they dont seem to be coming out of the centre of the rosette...

Don't most Aloes come out from a similar point? My polyphylla does. I assume it is generated at the growing point but takes its time growing so that, by the time you see it, they are a few leaves away from the meristem.

Is this one is splitting too Mike? It look like more leaves in the very centre?

If it's splitting maybe that explains why there seem to be 2 off-centre flowering stalks developing
