Mammilaria nejapensis flowering

Post by Greenlarry »

This little mamm just seems to pop flowers out randomly, any time of the year. And its just sat on a windowsill.
I used a magnifying glass in front of my phone's camera for some close ups.
Btw, its listed as Mammillaria karwinskiana ssp. nejapensis
(Syn: Mammillaria nejapensis) on cactus-art.biz

You can take the boy out of the greenhouse, but you can't take the greenhouse out of the boy!

Lovely plant.
Well done with the pictures. Just shows what can be done with the minimum of equipment.
Endeavouring to grow Aylostera, Echinocereus, Echinopsis, Gymnocalycium, Matucana, Rebutia, and Sulcorebutia. Fallen out of love with Lithops and aggravated by Aeoniums.
Currently being wooed by Haworthia, attempting hybridisation, and enticed by Mesembs.
