I have been growing C & S since 1968. A lot of my plants were imports in the early 1970s. I am a Crawley branch member sometimes!

Re: Coryphantha ID
How do you know it's from Paila, Mexico? Did you collect the seed or does it have a collection number?
Phil Crewe, BCSS 38143. Mostly S. American cacti, esp. Lobivia, Sulcorebutia and little Opuntia
Re: Coryphantha ID
I purchased the plant from 'Two Shovels' at ELK last year and all it had on the label was Coryphantha sp. Paila Mex.

Re: Coryphantha ID
Hi John,
This is a form of C.ramillosa ssp.ramillosa. It is selling with the name 'C.margarethae, Mexico- Coahuila, Paila.' by some nurseries also.
Its name has been confirmed by Reto Dicht, the author of the book named Coryphantha, (2005), (personal communicaton).
Here is a photo of mine. You can see more photos in my website.
Regards
