Cheers Vic. I took pics of the outdoor beds & clocked the Agaves but didn't post yet - may add later.

I did enjoy Brum. Haven't been there for well over 20 years. I used to know it quite well as I was at Warwick Uni. for 3 years at the end of the 70's. Have to say that I can't remember exactly how it looked then but I guess it's changed a lot? The Bull Ring most certainly has.

Yes the Botanical gardens are lovely & well worth a visit.

We had coffee in the morning with a peacock sitting outside the window before it wobbled off to the family that had 4 little babies.

Must be more organised & take photo's once the prize cards are there as it's a lot better to see what plants Won.

Yes Colin my Pachypodium & my Lophs got 1st & 2nd so I think I'll enter again next yr.

Must treat my Euphorbia's with some growth hormones or steroids to plump them up !!!
Tina

varied collection of succulents and cacti but I especially like Euphorbia's, Ariocarpus and variegated agaves.

Sorry to have missed you Ant, didn't realise you were going.

I got asked if I was in my late 20s so I suppose it all evens out... ;)

Hi Stuart,

It was a late thursday decision to go to the show and even then i only dropped the plants off. Her indoors wanted to go out so i didnt return till late afternoon. I'm gonna try and make this months branch meeting so we can catch up then.

It was probably the same person who thought i was Vic's brother (who also thought i was 24!!! I wish )

Maria, yes, there were some superb Gymnos - I didn't snap any of them though I'm afraid.
