Aloi luckhoffii in flower

Post by Tom J »

Hi,

I finally flower this plant of Aloinopsis luckhoffii (Boonstevlei) for the first time: It's a compact plant with nice warths/theeth.
The plant is 5 or 6 years old, but it should be able to flower at a younger age.

Tom

With such a range of leaf colours, who cares about flowers? I've never grow these before, or taken much notice of them either, but that photo tempts me. Fantastic.

They'll flower at under two years old, although you may have to grow them a bit lusher than these two plants :)

...but then they don't look nicely coloured and compact.
AgaveGeoff, excellent colours on that plant.
