Sorry yes it is tetragonum, the forum had a bit of a blip when I tried to update my post. As Ralph says the flowers are huge, the plant though is unbelievably scruffy and rambles everywhere. I was under the impression that Mammillaria plumosa flowered in the winter. Mine certainly produce the occasional flower in the winter but not often.
