^ Agreed #1 Neoporteria paucicostata. I hosepipe soaked my plants on the 14th,
but many are dry again already.

Really nice, the new offsetting plant looks awesome (tu)

I do this often with Copiapoa species. Chop them early to force clumping, rather than waiting many years :)

I also do exactly this, and its worked well for me.
