Re: Garden Pachypodium.
Yes Chris, this one definitely looks like the real P.lamerei.
If I can see well, I see the typical spines grouping by threes on the branches.
I remember, the flowers smell quite intensely and emit very pleasant odour.
Remarkable specimen by the way..

Conophytum seeds - extraction?
Hello friends! Last year I managed to pollinate a few of my Conophytum plants. The process resulted in producing seed capsules on some of them. Question is - when is the right moment to harvest the dry capsules? And then, how can one successfully extract all the tiny seeds out of the capsule? Now I ...

Re: An unknown mesemb
After checking other photos of this plant, I have to confirm - it sure is Phyllobolus prasinus.
A little question - what name is valid now, Phyllobolus or Sphalmanthus?
Anyway, many thanks to all!

An unknown mesemb
Hello all! Three years ago I was given this mesemb plant. Apparently, it's a winter grower, starts its season in late summer and grows until end of March or so. It's in flower right now for the very first time and the colour is light green. From what I have found at different places, it might ...

Re: Advices request for sowing some species
Hello Aiko, As to the Othonnas - I get my best results when sowing seeds at quite a lower temps, say around 10C. I have a feeling that they love lower germination temperatures. Providing day/night temperature fluctuation might work even better. I normally put my Othonna seeds into the fridge to achi...

Re: Pachypodium namaquanum
Seeing my hardly 10cm plant and this giant makes me kind of impatient... now I'm sure there's still long way to go!
Wonderful namaquanum Richaud, thanks for posting those scans.
