The main problem growing cacti is not the growing medium but the pH of the water. Where possible use rainwater and adjust the pH to 5.5 - 6.0 for optimal nutrient uptake and growth. I use pure pumice or Lava Rock. The only pest that I get are mealy bugs which are easily dealt with by the use of 70% ...

I wonder if it might grow into something more like the field number data base that started out as a couple of pages of A4 how many pages are the now Ralph? Yes as it says in the topic bar it is Dudleya verityi.
It tends to grow in the small cracks and pockets in the rocks in the moss. In very dry conditions it can pull itself right into the moss.

Ernie ISI1641 is a 1986 introduction. X Cremnoseedum ‘Crocodile’ Mr & Mrs Robert Grim of San Jose, California made this hybrid along with many more. This one is Cremnophylanutans and Sedum furfuraceum.

Lets hope DNA studies are done first this time to prove relationships or possible hybridity before the morphologists try and classify or reclassify it on visual characteristics alone, as they did with Digitostigma. .
