I would rather see one specific thread on identifications for people to get their plants identified than people regularly making new threads with their requests (like on the Cactiguide forums). Identification requests really can get out of control, if one is not careful.

That is not even close! Though you could have spotted it, as Ferocactus and Delosperma seeds are quite different. Or the one that sent you these should know better.

I thought this species has fluffy and soft spines, basically wooly. But these look rather sharp and pointy.
