Re: Succulent seed pods
one I’m trimming the roots every year to try and keep the main caudex a better shape I'm not sure why trimming the roots would work, surely it would slow its growth down as it needs to regrow them. My feeling is you would be better with a shallow pot and/or planting it at an angle. Popped out to GH...

Re: Tylecodon singularis advice request
mike,
Very jealous of these- great looking plants, I used to grow a few for years and then one went blind, corm was alive but it didn't sprout and then the other did the same. Can the tops get scorched, maybe I needed deep gravel.

Hi Ian,
we both need to cross our fingers.
This plant was seed grown by myself several years ago which makes it even more special, you just need to be generous with the water & repotting.

This was a lovely gift from a friend who couldn't cope anymore. I don't know if this is definitely going to be viable seed but I have my fingers crossed....

Succulent seed pods
I was tidying up the dead leaves on the fockea's and had a pleasant surprise, seed follicles I've never had seed on any of my fockea's before. Looks a bit like a gherkin or exotic pepper. I really enjoy when I get a surprise like this, its good to still get new experiences with the plants. Any one e...
