ario confusus has been in cultivation for quite a while as I have some I grew from Doug rowland seed.sown 2004 & they are in 4" or 5"pots now. I was told that Rudy was his own worst enemy at Elk, when he was being inspected he made it a lot worse as he wouldn't calm down.

I agree with AIko, stuart & Karl, the czeck & other growers are amazing at propagating & increasing stocks via grafting from just a few seed & they don't even need the 500 minimum that Kew stipulate. All my lophophora are in JI2 & cat litter-moler, they really aren't difficult to grow.
I never use sand unless its for rooting some seedlings

Yes we have a copy of the speakers list but we are trying to source 'new speakers' not least as branches will be getting back to normal soon & you won't want the same talk twice and not all UK branch speakers wish to to do zoom talks
