Oops, agreed, I do have gerradanthus.
Guess I was blinded by the cute fruit, although the caudex on this is has never grown, my other kedrostis africans are multi lobed so its probably not africans

This was a lovely surprise late last year when I noticed my caudiciform Gerrardanthus lobatus had set fruit. Love it, I didn't realise people are eating trich pachanoi & ario fissuratus now, all very odd.Perhaps they have been genetically modified to fit into a baguette? The new Subway Peyote, maybe. Easier to eat.

The yellow ones normally die, I had a batch of utahensis with some white ones, I was quite excited hoping for variegates but they died quickly
