Ceropegia rendallii, why so rare in collections?
I have a Ceropegia rendallii x C. africana which is a lovely plant but I don't understand why pure C. rendallii is so hard tome come by. There are plenty of photos on the internet of beautiful plants and its not tricky to grow so why is it so rare in collections. If anyone has or knows of the wherea...

Re: Cactus World Live, Saturday 21 and Sunday 22 September 2019
Without a doubt the best £5 I'll spend all year. I went on the Sunday which I believe was a bit quieter but still plenty of people and a great atmosphere. I wasn't sure what to expect so had only planned to be there a couple hours as I was with my girlfriend who has no interest in plants. Maybe I mi...

Very interesting, do the three lobed ones generally remain 3 lobed? If so it will be interesting to see what happens to this one.

Re: Mesemb seedling help
Thanks for all your replies, the information has helped a lot. I had read Terry Smale's information on his website about keeping them growing for the first 18 months but I was also aware that the older leaves needed to dry out at some point to allow the new ones to develop in a healthy manner. What ...

Mesemb seedling help
Hello, earlier this year I made my first attempt at growing mesembs from seed. I acquired a range of different varieties from the BCSS seed list. Everything seemed to be going okay until a month ago when some of the stemless mesembs started looking a bit sick. What I’m unsure of is how to treat the ...

Re: La Gomera mid February
Did you see any Ceropegia dichotoma? I’ve seen them on Tenerife but wasn’t sure if they grow on the other islands.
