Re: Ceropegia occulta

Hi John, here is a picture of a conrathii plant I sent to someone else earlier this year, I can send you something similar in spring.

Re: Ceropegia occulta

Hi John, that would be great, I would happily trade a Ceropegia conrathii for it. Of course best to wait a couple of months until the weather picks up, regards.

Re: Ceropegia occulta

Hi John, that's a really interesting Ceropegia and one I've not come across before. If you have any plans of propagating it I'd happily trade it for another Ceropegia from my collection. I have a round 60 species with lots of rarely seen ones so hopefully there would be something to take your fancy....

Re: africa-seeds.com

I placed an order for Ceropegia seed, I was sceptical but paid via PayPal so knew I was covered. They provided a tracking number that wasn't recognised so I queried it and didn't get a reply. I left it a bit longer but then asked for a refund which they provided without having to make a claim throug...

Hi Kohinoor, thanks for your reply, I don’t suppose you know of a source of this plant in Asia that could ship to the UK?

Ceropegia rendallii, why so rare in collections?

I have a Ceropegia rendallii x C. africana which is a lovely plant but I don't understand why pure C. rendallii is so hard tome come by. There are plenty of photos on the internet of beautiful plants and its not tricky to grow so why is it so rare in collections. If anyone has or knows of the wherea...

Re: Cactus World Live, Saturday 21 and Sunday 22 September 2019

Without a doubt the best £5 I'll spend all year. I went on the Sunday which I believe was a bit quieter but still plenty of people and a great atmosphere. I wasn't sure what to expect so had only planned to be there a couple hours as I was with my girlfriend who has no interest in plants. Maybe I mi...

Manual Pollination of Ceropegia?

I am aware the natural way Ceropegia are pollinated is by trapping small Diptera flies but has anyone managed to successfully pollinate Ceropegia manually? I've had a look on the internet where there is quite a bit of information around the natural pollination processes but I cant find anything to d...

Re: Four lobed lithops?

Very interesting, do the three lobed ones generally remain 3 lobed? If so it will be interesting to see what happens to this one.

Re: Mesemb seedling help

Thanks for all your replies, the information has helped a lot. I had read Terry Smale's information on his website about keeping them growing for the first 18 months but I was also aware that the older leaves needed to dry out at some point to allow the new ones to develop in a healthy manner. What ...
