(Sowing) Where do you put the organic part in a pot: on top, in the middle or at the bottom?

Re: Blossfeldia
Hello, they are amazing. I have sowed some of them, they are about 1 year.
How long did you keep their bag closed (baggie method) and how often do you recommend open to water them and close the bag again?

Re: Recommendations, haworthia seeds zero germination
Many thanks for your comments. My soil is composed by 80% pumice and 20% compost. I added that solution of water and apple vinegar to create an alkaline environment in order to prevent fungus. I have zero mold and fungus, and zero germination of course. Yesterday I put the containers bagged in a mul...

Recommendations, haworthia seeds zero germination

Two months ago (in the middle of Summer) I sowed some batches of haworthia seeds, I used baggie method, the seeds were fresh and I watered them with a solution of 90% water and 10% apple vinegar (to prevent fungus), but I got zero germination. I used 50%...

Re: Aztekium ritteri from seed
They are not hard to grow. Key is to get them to germinate using the "baggy method". After that they grow steadily but extremely slow. After five years expect nothing bigger than maybe half a centimeter. Treat them the same as any other seedlings of the same size, and they should do fine....
