Great flowers Phil. The variation in the Lobivia is really interesting. Shame the multicoloured one doesn't open like the second one!

Thanks everyone. Only really started buying a couple of Chamaelobivia to cross with other stuff but they've really impressed me and I can't help collecting more!

Thought I'd share a few more flowers with you all to hopefully enjoy! Really impressed with the Chamaelobivia hybrids this year and can't wait until they're all bigger plants for even more flowers! Cracking plant. I do love the powdery types. Me too, up until their very first repotting when I ruin them completely and push to the far end of the shelf to never look at them again. Lol! I find I can usually do minimal damage by going underneath the leaves and holding the stem but still leaves som...

I would wonder if you took the same three types of R. pygmaea in the greenhouse then could you cross them to produce plants that were fertile? That wouldn't necessarily mean they aren't valid species in the wild as long as they are effectively reproductively isolated there. Depends on which version...
