Dipping my toes into these plants recently. The euanthema is three plants in one pot so will be broken up at some point.

Just realised I can black out the background using my iphone- think I’ll use this a bit more in future.

Re: First Pterocactus of the year

Noticed buds on my valentinii for the first time today. The hard prune last year has obviously had the desired effect.

Re: Pelargoniums

Thanks everyone. Tina, the appendiculatum photo is a couple of weeks old. The greenery is now very much dying back and I’ve stopped watering. I’ve got a few plants that are still growing new leaves so I’m still watering them. Schizopetalum and bowkeri fall into this category and haven’t flowered yet...

I have Lincoln yellow bird sitting with three big buds on it currently. Your plant is a way ahead of mine.

Re: Under the bench

Gasterias take up the majority of the space under my bench.

Other dormant plants also sit under there. All my conos are currently under the bench and will only be moved when they’re watered late in the summer.

Re: Pelargonium curviandrum

I bought a small rectangular bonsai pot from a jumble sale two years ago for the princely sum of 20p. I’ve never found a plant to put in it!

Re: Euphorbia makeover

Whenever I've asked about these medusoid euphorbias on facebook groups and elsewhere, I'm told they're difficult to tell apart at the best of times and hybridise readily with each other to complicate things further. My first thought when I saw it was euphorbia pugniformis though, for what it's worth.
