My seedlings from September seem to be very happy, and the tuber is around 1.5cm. 3 out of 4 seeds germinated which I am very pleased about. Should I stop watering them now and let them die back for their summer rest? Additionally, do I give them light watering throughout the summer to prevent them ...

Thanks all for the input, much appreciated. I Googled the book mentioned by Ralph, and as best I recall it is the only time I have ever done such a search and received no results whatsoever! So I think you were lucky to get a copy ianstrutt, well done! I doubt a letter to Santa is going to help me ...

Cornwall is a great place to see some cacti and succulents outside. I can strongly recommend Falmouth, which feature Queen Mary Gardens, Cliff Rd (which has succulents planted on the path) and Gyllyngdune Gardens. Closest branch show to me, but couldn't go as I had work. Hopefully I can make future shows. Was wondering if I could be transferred from the Surrey branch to the Croydon branch?
